Getting your knowledge into ChatFast just got a whole lot easier
We spent the last couple of months rebuilding the part of ChatFast that turns your content into something your agent can actually use. It's faster, it handles far more than web pages, and it shows you what's going on while it works. Here's the tour.
Getting your knowledge into most AI tools is where things get painful. You paste in some links, upload a few files, hit a button — then wait, with no idea what made it in, what got skipped, or why an answer later feels a little off. This update fixes that.
We rebuilt the entire ingestion pipeline — the system that turns your content into knowledge your agent can search — from the ground up. The idea is the same as before: point ChatFast at your content, and get an agent that knows it. Here’s what’s new.
Point it at your site, and we’ll find the right pages
You usually don’t want your entirewebsite in your agent’s head — just the pages that matter, like your docs, help center, and product pages, not the checkout flow or a hundred tag archives. So now you have options. Give us the exact URLs if you know them, or hand us a single link and let ChatFast figure out the rest.
When you do, we scan your site and come back almost instantly with the pages we found, grouped into sections so you can see the shape of things before committing to anything. Want just the /docssection? Scope it to that, and we’ll leave the rest alone. On bigger crawls, you won’t stare at a spinner — pages show up as they’re indexed, so you can watch your knowledge fill in live.
Upload pretty much anything
Your knowledge doesn’t only live on web pages. It’s in the policy PDF, the onboarding deck, the pricing spreadsheet, the handbook nobody’s opened in months. So we widened what you can bring in:
Even scanned PDFs and plain images work — a photographed sign, a screenshot of a settings screen, a contract you only have as a scan. We pull the text straight out of them. You can also paste text directly, or write out common questions and their answers yourself — no file required.
Cleaned up and made ready for your agent
Whatever you bring in — a sprawling web page, a dense PDF, a spreadsheet that’s grown out of control — the new pipeline cleans it up and organizes it into knowledge your agent can actually reason over. You don’t have to think about any of it. The difference shows up where it matters: sharper, more accurate answers that point clearly back to the right source.
Your agent now knows what it knows
As content comes in, ChatFast also writes up a short profile of each source — what it covers, its main topics, the key names and terms — and rolls those into one overview of everything your agent has learned. It works across languages, too. Think of it as an automatic table of contents for your agent’s knowledge, and the fastest way to spot a gap, like a topic people keep asking about that isn’t covered yet.
Give it a try
Point ChatFast at your website, add the documents that hold your real answers, and watch it come together — clearly, this time. If you’ve held off on adding a big site or your full document library because it felt like a leap of faith, this update should make it feel routine.
